J Eoin moved to London from Limerick City in 1987 and relocated back to Ireland in 2017.
During a thirty year career in London, J Eoin established himself in a number of diverse musical disciplines. He has worked as a session acoustic guitarist, live venue sound engineer, musical director and arranger with contemporary and traditional line ups, agent and promoter with The Gloss Club and in house music tutor with the Hammersmith Cultural Centre.
As a singer/songwriter J Eoin began recording in the early nineties under the name J. Owen. The J. Owen back catalogue is now on SoundCloud and covers releases throughout the nineties before he relaunched himself as J Eoin with 2013’s ‘Acrobat’ album.
